Request a venue or classroom

Do you want to host an event on campus and you’re searching a suitable venue?

The VUB disposes of several locations for seminars, meetings, receptions and congresses, not only on campus, but also in the U-residence (ground floor)

Attention! Requests are dealt with in a chronological fashion, but priority is given to events centering around education, research of administration. The application deadline to request a room varies according to the type of activity you are organising:

  • 1 room for 1 event: minimum 3 working days in advance 
  • Several rooms for an event of several days: minimum 10 working days in advance
  • Extensive activities (e.g. seminars): minimum 2 months in advance
  • Congress: minimum 4 months in advance (prior to your request, send an email to infradesk [at] vub [dot] ac [dot] be to verify if we can facilitate your needs)

Important notes on:

  • Deadline: not respecting the deadlines may result in a refusal of the application and a timely pro-cessing of your application can no longer be guaranteed.
  • Multimedia: a listing of our audiovisual and logistic support can be found on our info sheet (only in Dutch).
  • Cleaning: if the activity takes place on a class-free day or a weekend day, a mandatory fee will be charged (idem in case of extraordinary pollution of the room). 
  • Regulations: our classrooms are always subjected to our classroom regulations (only in Dutch).
