Proclamation code & meaning

This information applies to the academic year 2016-2017.

The proclamation code on your transcript of records is the only official result

You can download your transcript of records* in the Student SelfService after deliberation by your faculty. Click here for instructions on how to download your transcript of records.

The transcript of records holds a proclamation code. This code is your only official result. Here below you can find an overview of the proclamation codes and their meanings.

In case you did not pass all of your exams in the first exam period, you will be enrolled automatically in the second exam period. You only need to register yourself for oral exams (f.e. via Pointcarré). This will be mentioned on the exam schedules.

Your re-enrolment in the same programme at the VUB is refused because you didn’t obtain a single credit. You are not able to finish your programme.

Your re-enrolment for the same programme is refused because you failed to comply with the binding conditions. You are not able to finish your programme.

For details regarding these provisions you can consult article 153 and 156 of the teaching and examination regulations 2016-2017.

* Attention!

  • Erasmus students will receive an e-mail from the Student Administration Center with a PDF with their results. These results will be scaled to the grading system that is used by their home university in a later stage.

  • Guest students will receive their exam results via their home university/college.
