The Central PhD Office

The Central PhD Office is the central point of contact for all (prospective) PhD students at the VUB. PhD students can turn to us for all matters related to the PhD process, which are not specific to their field of study. Visit our webpages for more information on us, the PhD process and the Doctoral Training Programme!

The Doctoral Schools

The interdisciplinary and interfaculty Schools support PhD students, stimulate the quality of doctoral research at the VUB and help promote junior researchers.

The Doctoral Schools aim to provide a distinctive framework for the Doctoral Training Programme and, in so doing, increase the visibility of doctoral research and enhance its image, both within and outside the academic world.
