Infosession Pure

Pure is the Current Research Information System (CRIS) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. It contains all information regarding research conducted at the university and is the unique source for all reports on research output.

Pure is a comprehensive system and offers a lot of functionalities. Since the correct registration of research activities and outputs is crucial for the proper functioning and funding of the university, the R&D department organizes training sessions for users working in academic or administrative roles. 

In this session you will learn what the advantages are of Pure, how to add your research output, prizes, theses and how to use the CV module. During this session you will also be able to ask your Pure related questions during a Q&A.

  • How to add your research output correctly
  • How you can use the activities model
  • How to add your theses
  • how you can report on your research data
  • How to use the CV module so you can maintain different types of CVs
  • How to update your Pure profile for better visibility on the portal

Free of charge for PhD students

In case you have already registered but are not able to participate, please be so kind as to notify us by sending an e-mail to lsm [at] vub [dot] be so we can offer your place to one of your PhD colleagues on the waiting list.

Please be aware of the fact that the cancellation and no-show policy of VUB applies. Cancellation of your participation is only allowed up to 48 hours before the start of the course. Otherwise, the policy as described on the doctoral school website will be followed.
